When Ignite approached me about doing a new music video for their new track “The River” I was excited to make something for a band I’ve always loved. After hearing the song and meeting their new singer Eli Santana I was pumped on the revitalized direction of the band. For this video we went down to film in Mexico along the border to witness first hand how policies are keeping families apart. Just hours after we filmed at friendship park where the wall meets the ocean and young woman lost her life as a group made their way around the border. Simply put, it doesn’t need to be this hard for people to come to this country. It’s all easy and hypothetical until it’s you and your family who need the help. Anyway I hope you like the video, I look forward to doing a lot more with Ignite in the coming months.
